- Greetings! My name is Rick Christiansen. I was born and raised in Fresno and I am a teacher at Yokomi Elementary in the Fresno Unified School District. In the Spring of 2006, I graduated from Fresno State with Cum Laude distinction in the Liberal Studies Blended program. I have always wanted to teach because I feel it is one of the best professions to help uplift and give back to the community. Welcome to our classroom blog!

Step 1 – Verbal Warning
Step 2 – Student loses one Recess
Step 3 – Student loses every recess for the rest of the week

*Serious offenses may result in automatic referral (such as fighting, threats, out of control behavior, defiance etc.)
